The Kids Are Not All Right

I wrote an article last September about the recent gay teen suicides that I have hesitated to publish for many reasons.  One of them is that its subject is far more about politics than it is about parenting tips.  The other reason is that it’s not exactly the most “cheery” of all subjects.  It’s downright disturbing.  It’s depressing.  This story doesn’t have a happy ending and there’s little that is positive about it.   It also comes from a fearful place in me… something that there seems to be a lot of in the world these days due to politics, the […] read more
